Time To Drop It - What springs?

My 05 is currently riding on stock suspension and want to lower it a bit. I have stock 18's with no crazy wheel setup or anything. What is a decent company to go with and how much should I drop it? Is lowering the front only an option? Photos of car are below.

Thanks :)

Depends on your goals...

I would say to drop it about an inch all around if you want to notice a big difference. Your rear springs are sagging already. Know that its better to replace the springs with shocks/struts together. If you haven't replaced any bushings you may want to replace those as well...I'd search. You will go crazy looking through threads but it's the best way...

Some GTOs appear to have had spring sag before they got off the boat. My most popular drop kit is the 3/4" LOVELLS Eliminator Combo...pictures of many different cars with the kit can be found with a search. I like the 3/4" drop kit because it allows you the max drop without requiring a camber kit.

^ what he said. 3/4" is noticeable without causing the camber problems and ride quality. Andy's got some nice kits with struts/shocks. i like my 3/4" drop Lovells

math is a bit off tho. 20mm is a little over 3/4" and 5/16th" is about 8mm and you have both 3/8" (9.5mm) and 1/2" (13ish mm) as the same wrong amount

I'd suggest the pedders xa's. I just put those on my car about two weeks ago and they are very nice. Easy install and the adjustments are easy as well. You can control the ride heighth and how soft or stiff you want. Also Pedders has the rear camber kits now so Low isnt a problem anymore unless your like me and camber isn't an issue but that 3 inch pipe underneath is. I havent put the rear camber kit on yet but this winter I am . It doesnt look hard at all. They ride awesome and the car handles incredible. Good luck on your choice and hope it all goes well.

Im going with Lovells 3/4" drop kit (struts, shocks, springs), RR bushings, Strut mounts/bearings. I have read nothing but great reviews about it!

Thanks guys.. I am on pedders XA coils with RR bushing and pedders inner control arm bushings. i love these coilovers the gto feels like a damn go-cart now. it was prob the best money spent on the car since i got them.... its about 1.5-1.7 in drop right now and i have no problems at all driving in NY.. I even drive through Manhattan at least once a month.

on another note i will like to say that the ride quality on par with the stock suspension and rides comfortable... (and thats coming from a guy that owned 3 lexus's)
